The mission of MedVet’s Residency Training Programs is to provide the highest level of specialty training in a collaborative environment committed to the best possible patient care and clinical outcomes. MedVet residency programs provide you with all aspects of clinical and didactic training needed to be become an exceptional clinician in your chosen specialty and achieve board certification. Educational opportunities include participation in journal and book clubs, board preparation rounds, daily clinical rounds, formal presentations and CE lectures, and the ability to interact and consult with the many MedVet specialists.

Duration: 3 years

Qualifications: Successful completion of a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery (or equivalent experience) and seeking advanced training and board certification in a specific specialty. Must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully completed the AVMA ECFVG or PAVE certification program prior to application. The candidate must be eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of the training program.
