Employees: We have over 1225 employees of which 235 are doctors and 800 supporting staff including registered veterinary technicians, animal aids and customer service representatives.

Patient Visits:  In 2016, we had 100,000 patient visits across our locations.

Hours: Most of our hospitals are open 24/7/365. No appointment is necessary for emergency care. Appointments are required for specialty and referral services and varies by location.

Training: Research and education: We have over 25 residents and interns in training in our accredited training programs.

Education: MedVet doctors and technicians share their ideas and expertise through free Continuing Education (CE) meetings for Referring Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians at all locations. MedVet offers approximately 200 hours of CE/year.

Research: MedVet advances veterinary medicine through clinical studies. Our Clinical Studies Center leads collaborative initiatives with MedVet specialists and veterinarians worldwide. MedVet partners with a wide variety of investigative institutions and sponsors to complete clinical studies. The outcome of these important studies benefits the entire veterinary community by putting safer, more effective treatments into the hands of veterinarians in Ohio and around the world.

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets was named the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Accredited Referral Practice of the Year for 2014 (Columbus) and 2016 (Cincinnati), the only group of practices to receive this award twice.  The American Animal Hospital Association, AAHA, is the only organization in the United States and Canada that accredits companion animal hospitals based on standards that meet or exceed state regulations.
