Zara L. Thompson, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Silicon Valley. She joined our team in 2023.

While Dr. Thompson enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, she has special interests in emergency care, feline medicine, equine podiatry, and shelter medicine. What Dr. Zara Thompson likes most about being a veterinarian is the daily variety of fascinating cases and the individuality of each patient, as well as being able to make a real difference in both pets and their people’s lives each day.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Zara Thompson spends her time drawing and painting portraits, horseback riding, and rock climbing.
