Toni Yang, DVM, CVA, CCRT is an Integrative Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Jupiter.
Dr. Yang earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She then completed an internship in small animal surgery and medicine, followed by a specialty internship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, FL.
Dr. Yang then pursued additional training in veterinary acupuncture at Chi University in Reddick, FL and small animal physical rehabilitation certiciation at Canine Rehabilitation Institute in Wellington, FL. She has special interest in post-operative rehabilitation of orthopedic and neurologic conditions, small animal acupuncture, and being able to offer help when more traditional interventions such as medicine/surgery are not an option.
After moving to Jupiter, Dr. Yang founded the Physical Rehabilitation & Integrative Medicine Service to rehabilitate dogs and cats that have arthritis, sustained musculoskeletal injuries, have undergone surgery (fracture repair, cranial cruciate ligament rupture repair, patellar luxation stabilization, joint replacement, arthroscopy, neck/back surgery), or any condition where targeted therapies can help to alleviate pain/weakness and regain mobility.
Dr. Yang shares her home with one cat and one dog, Sheldon and Leonard. Her dream is to live in a tiny home someday, and she loves listening to podcasts and audiobooks. She enjoys reading, spending time outdoors (often in a hammock!), and eating any and all foods. Although Dr. Yang will always consider herself a native Texan, Florida is lovely and has somehow found a way to keep her around!
