Rachel McAuley, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Dayton and has been a part of the team since June 2021.

Dr. McAuley attended Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Science and Management with a minor in Chemistry. Following her undergraduate studies, she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbus, OH.

Dr. McAuley has a special interest in trauma, endocrine issues, and orthopedic surgery. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being around animals and educating families on their pet’s health.

In her spare time, Dr. McAuley enjoys horseback riding, working in Photoshop, reading, and watching Marvel movies and the television show “Supernatural.” She has had many pets in her life, including horses, goats, sheep, dogs, and cats.
