Maya Krasnow, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology), is a Board-certified Veterinary Neurologist at MedVet Cincinnati where she has been part of the team since September 2020. Dr. Krasnow earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, PA in 2010. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2016. Following her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Krasnow completed a yearlong rotating internship at the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, NC and then a residency in Neurology at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in College Station, TX in 2020.

Dr. Krasnow is fascinated by all aspects of veterinary neurology and has special interests in feline neurologic diseases, intervertebral disc disease, and the treatment of seizure disorders. When not treating patients, Dr. Krasnow enjoys spending time with her dog, Lilah and her cat, Major Tom.
