Julie Lada, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Indianapolis. She has been a part of our team since 2022.
Dr. Lada earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. She then attended the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, Saint Kitts, and Nevis, West Indies, where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree after completing her fourth clinical year at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana College of Veterinary Medicine in Urbana, IL.
Dr. Lada is passionate about emergency medicine, and she has special interests in cytology, clinical pathology, ultrasonography, and critical care and triage. Her favorite part of the veterinary profession is making a difference in the comfort and happiness of pets and helping owners when faced with challenging days and decisions.
When not helping pets feel better, Dr. Lada spends her time gardening, cooking, and baking. She is also very adventurous and enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and camping.
