Jocelyn R. Gilmore, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Pittsburgh. She has been a member of the team since 2023.
Dr. Gilmore attended The Ohio State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Additionally, Jocelyn Gilmore completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship with Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center.
Dr. Gilmore is passionate about all aspects of emergency medicine, particularly with urethral obstructions, septic abdomens, diabetic ketoacidosis, and Addison’s disease. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is building trust and communicating with families to create individualized treatment plans for each pet.
When not caring for patients, Jocelyn Gilmore enjoys spending time with family, reading, crocheting, and kayaking. She also likes to spend time with her dog and cats.
