Dana Rucinski, DVM, is Residency Trained in Veterinary Cardiology. She joined the MedVet Norwalk team in September 2022.
Dr. Rucinski attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. She then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Dr. Rucinksi earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbus, OH. Following earning her veterinary degree, she completed rotating medicine and surgery internships at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment and Specialties in Walpole, MA, and MedVet Columbus in Worthington, OH, and a cardiology residency at MedVet Columbus.
Passionate about all aspects of veterinary cardiology, Dr. Rucinski maintains a special interest in minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures. She finds joy in improving the quality of life of our companion animals
When not at the hospital, Dr. Rucinski enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with her family and pets.
