Chele N. Lathroum, DVM, is a veterinarian who is residency trained in Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care at MedVet Northern Utah.

Dr. Lathroum attended Utah State University in Logan, UT where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioveterinary Sciences. She then attended the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis, West Indies, where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree after completing her fourth clinical year at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Fort Collins, Co. Following earning her veterinary degree, Dr. Lathroum completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA and a critical care residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison, WI.

Dr. Lathroum has a special interest in respiratory distress and polytrauma. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is getting to send a patient back home to their family. When away from the hospital, Dr. Lathroum enjoys spending time with her pets and partner, snowboarding, hiking, and reading.
