Brandon Verkinderen, DVM, is a veterinary intern at WestVet Boise, where he has been a part of the team since 2022.

Dr. Verkinderen attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a minor in chemistry. He then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS.

Dr. Verkinderen has a special interest in emergency medicine, critical care, and internal medicine. His favorite part of the veterinary profession is providing care for his patients and seeing the owners’ joy and excitement when pets get to return home.
