Amy E. Heuberger, DVM, MScPH is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian who joined the MedVet Chicago team in 2018. Dr. Heuberger attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She next attended the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in London, England where she earned her Master of Science in Public Health, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in Urbana, IL. She also completed a small animal rotating internship at MedVet Chicago.

Passionate about all aspects of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Heuberger finds joy in supporting the human-animal bond, as well as helping make difficult decisions a little bit better.

When not at the hospital, Dr. Heuberger enjoys traveling, being outdoors, exploring Chicago, and spending time with her family and friends.
