Alex Lundhild, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Campbell and MedVet Mountain View. She has been a part of the team since 2021.
Dr. Lundhild attended the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada where she earned, with honors, a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. Following earning her veterinary degree, Dr. Lundhild completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Additionally, she is Fear Free Certified®, a RECOVER CPR Certified BLS Rescuer®, and a RECOVER CPR Certified ALS Rescuer®.
Dr. Lundhild has a special interest in emergency and critical care, point-of-care ultrasound, and soft tissue surgery. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the fast-paced environment and diversity of emergency medicine. Dr. Lundhild finds joy in knowing she is able to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families on a daily basis.
When away from the ER, she enjoys traveling, cuddling with her cats, playing sports, and spending time outdoors.
