Columbus, Ohio: December 11th, 2016. MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets announces the re-launch of the organization’s website at archive.medvet.com as the preeminent source for access to veterinary emergency and specialty services to their network of 12 hospitals.
The objectives of the new website are to integrate all locations while providing an easy location finder, to create an enhanced presence on the Internet for MedVet’s 24/7 emergency service and full complement of veterinary specialists, and to provide referral partners with easy access to their patients’ medical records.
Another important objective for the website is to be responsive and useful on tablets and mobile devices. “In this age of smart phones, we are seeing more clients seeking help and directions using their mobile devices,” states SVP of Marketing Dr. Amy Snyder. “We want to make it easy for pet owners needing help to be able to easily contact us and find our locations using ‘click to call’ and ‘google maps’.” By hitting the red emergency button on the home page the viewer is immediately taken to the location nearest them.
The website also gives family veterinarians that refer to MedVet access to their patients’ medical records, bloodwork, surgery reports and radiographs through the “Referral Partner Portal.” “It is important to MedVet to work with family veterinarians to provide the best possible care to their clients and patients,” says Snyder.
Designed to be interactive but at the same time giving immediate information to the public, the website is also an educational experience. The website offers over 1,200 up-to-date client handouts on symptoms, diseases and drugs available to print at a touch of a button. The site links to Life Learn, one of the most respected and reliable information sites used by veterinarians throughout the Nation, as well as having pet health information created by MedVet specialists. The site also offers a professional library of information useful to practicing veterinarians.
The culmination of a nine-month planning and development process, MedVet launched phase one of its new website (archive.medvet.com.com) on December 5th.
